Road Closures
Road closures will be in place in the Sutherland Shire on Sunday 24 July 2011, for the Sutherland to Surf fun run/walk.
Roads in the Sutherland Shire between Sutherland and Cronulla will begin closing from 7:00am on Sunday 24 July 2011, with a progressive reopening of roads from 8:15am with all roads open by 10:30am.
The event will start at 8:00am on Flora St, Sutherland, continuing onto Clement Pde, left to Hotham Rd and right onto the Kingsway to use east bound lanes only of the Kingsway to finish at Wanda Surf Club, Cronulla.
Patrons attending the Sutherland to Surf fun run/walk are advised to use public transport.

Roads will be progressively re-opened by RTA and Police after cleaning.

North/South access across the Kingsway will continue, until they are closed by the Police at the times below. Reopening is an approximate time only.

Direction to Restrict
A restricted speed of 40km/hr will be implemented along the Kingsway westbound between Elouera Rd and Hotham Rd between 7:30am to 10:30am.
